Job Description
Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress.
Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient.
Maintain patient's confidentiality.
Create and implement effective care plans.
Requirements
- Must be a Manitoba resident
- Updated resume with two professional references
- Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse and Child Abuse Registry Check obtained at least within 1 year
- Immunization records of the following: MMRV - Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Chickenpox), Hepatitis B series, Tubercullin Mantoux screen
Qualifications
- Must be NCLEX passer and possess an active Canadian RN registration
- Must have at least 1 year of work experience in a hospital or Personal care home environment.
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be willing to work on shifting schedules
- Must be willing to work within Manitoba
