Job Description
Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress.
Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient.
Maintain patient's confidentiality.
Create and implement effective care plans.
Requirements
- Must be a Manitoba resident
- Updated resume with two professional references
- Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse and Child Abuse Registry Check obtained at least within 1 year
- Immunization records of the following: MMRV - Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Chickenpox), Hepatitis B series, Tubercullin Mantoux screen
Qualifications
- Must be NCLEX passer and possess an active Canadian RN registration
- Must have at least 1 year of work experience in a hospital or Personal care home environment.
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be willing to work on shifting schedules
- Must be willing to work within Manitoba
PerDiem:
-
- RN - $80 to 90
- Special RN - $90 to 100
- LPN - $70
- Rate are determined during interview process with the site.
- Pay rates for assignments can vary based on location and facility type. Length of experience and demand for specific skills. Thi means that the rate changes of each oppurtunity.
- Please note that any added shift will be paid straight time.
