Job Description
Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress.
Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
Complete all necessary paperwork.
Maintain patient's confidentiality.
Create and implement effective care plans.
Requirements
- Must be a Manitoba resident
- Updated resume with two professional references
- Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse and Child Abuse Registry Check obtained within 1 year
- Immunization records of the following: MMRV - Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Chickenpox), Hepatitis B series, Tubercullin Mantoux screen
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience is required.
- Has acute/PCH experience.
- Must possess an active Canadian LPN registration.
- Adaptable to changes and willing to work shifting schedules.
- Applicant must be willing to work within Manitoba.
